actually one thing came in my mind,

you know we got two types of IP. one is with "we have reviewed your application and sent a letter on XXXX date." and one is "We have reviewed your application and started processing your application on XXXX"

So, the group of applicants who got with letter sent do not need to wait for any varification call. they will get a letter directly on their address. the other category should get a call what I had. Purely guessing.

We will be bringing forward legislation, in the near future, to allow the Minister of Immigration to retrospectively apply what are called Ministerial Instructions, so that we can speed up processing of people who are in acute need in Canada.

I had this line in my e-cas status since 20th April 2010.

My status reads as follows.


We received your application for permanent residence on March 2010.

First 2 lines are for 1st AOR, next 2 ines for 2nd AOR and the 5th one for the in process.
Don't know why diff people have diff lines.
