I Think This is good news , No matter what the Period of being in a Limbo will be soon Over

We are moving, in this Economic Action Plan, to deal decisively with that backlog by returning three-quarters of the applications in our system, so we can start fresh with a clean slate, with a just-in-time immigration system. By 2014,

Kavya

Those who got letter dispatched status got DM

The second ones are getting the calls

actually one thing came in my mind,

you know we got two types of IP. one is with "we have reviewed your application and sent a letter on XXXX date." and one is "We have reviewed your application and started processing your application on XXXX"

So, the group of applicants who got with letter sent do not need to wait for any varification call. they will get a letter directly on their address. the other category should get a call what I had. Purely guessing.

CHC has not sent any letter to any one unless it was a rejection

The additional doc request will come probably with MPR

I missed reading the age Factor can you Point that out for me

These are examples you have missed the main point sir.

That's why today, I'm announcing another important element of our transformational immigration reforms. We will be bringing forward legislation, in the near future, to allow the Minister of Immigration to retrospectively apply what are called Ministerial Instructions, so that we can speed up processing of people who are in acute need in Canada.

we will be bringing forward legislation that allows the government to retroactively apply regulations for the selection of immigrants to those who are already in the queue. This means, for example, that as we reform the points grid for the selection of skilled workers to put more emphasis on language proficiency for those who want to work in licensed professions, to put more emphasis on younger workers who we know succeed better over time in Canada, to put more emphasis on Canadian as opposed to foreign work experience, we will be able to apply those criteria to those who are already in the queue.

You must have read about new point selection criteria, points are going to change for Age, experience and language.
They will retroactively apply regulations for the selection of immigrants to those who are already in the queue.

This is just an example but they will implement new selection grid to all existing application required according to their NOCs.

-ve, a few people have recieved it, but the information required was mandatory to process the application. for example, IELTS trf which was not sent with full document submission.
but the  info they may be asking on later stage likely with mr , is for reassuring. for example: updated/current state of POF

Dear Kavya,

The line we have reviewed your application and sent a letter on XXXX date is generally meant for your 1st AOR.

I had this line in my e-cas status since 20th April 2010.

My status reads as follows.

We received your application for permanent residence on March 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on April 20, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on April 27, 2010. The New Delhi office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 1, 2012.

First 2 lines are for 1st AOR, next 2 ines for 2nd AOR and the 5th one for the in process.
Don't know why diff people have diff lines.

actually one thing came in my mind,

you know we got two types of IP. one is with "we have reviewed your application and sent a letter on XXXX date." and one is "We have reviewed your application and started processing your application on XXXX"

So, the group of applicants who got with letter sent do not need to wait for any varification call. they will get a letter directly on their address. the other category should get a call what I had. Purely guessing.
