This process has prompt me to look for other options, can not wait for entire life.

agreed bro..we should look for other options.

it seems now they are intended to put up a new backlog 'NOT SO WANTED NOCs' and then will get it slash down.

I thought Nicky Royal was hinting at positive things for us Pre-Juners who are no longer "wanted". Anyway I have started working on other plans since I believe trust in Canadian Govt. is now gone and I don't even want to think about ending up like pre-Feb 2008 guys who are set to loose potentially interest on app. money and funds tied up for POF due to the callousness of Can. Govt. (However unfortunately our app. money and POF are also in the lurch till this entire fu***d up process ends).

I think we have been patient for long enough now. Also patience only works with ppl. and institutions one can trust which does not appear to be the case with the Canadian Govt. I know that we are helpless in this matter and I personally have lost a lot of peace of mind ever since I applied (at that time we were expecting 1 yr. approx. for whole process). As I said before and others have agreed, looking for other options seems to be the best idea as a lot of time has been wasted and none of us is becoming younger as days go by...

Dear all, please relax!!!

Don't panic, especially all those who are in process. Those who are in process may get visa this year and those who are not will get it next year.

In the meantime you all can look at other options. Accountant is an in demand occupation in Australia, if you score sufficient marks than it will be faster.
This is if you want to immigrate to Australia.

I won't love to immigrate there.
Its a very small country with limited opportunities.

Good for farming and animal husbandary.
Ofcourse accountants are needed everywhere but yet....
