Can we consider this delay (again after a delightful "in process with date" phenomena) is because all VO's will be doing the refund process and sending letters to the pre-Feb 2008 applicants.  Because CIC knows that it was injustice what they have shown towards the pre-feb 2008 applicants and they won't delay anything again atleast for the refund in their cases.

And we all know that when things start working again (fresh medical/passport requests), post june-ers will again get priority over us.  So a movement in our files can take probably a few more months.

But logically thinking do we really have to wait till 2013.  We are still in the beginning of 2012 and inventory is going to come down like anything.

Kindly give your inputs.

They have to Please their voters and since they promised to get rid of the backlog they fulfilled their promise even if the means were not populist

Lets take it in our stride and have a Plan B ready for ourselves

Sending fee after making people wait for 5 to 8 yrs will Invite legal hassles Including court cases etc etc

I think they will move forward in Politically correct and Legally Viable methods

Not sure it will be as simple a clerical job

 agree but the decision taken at Ministerial level at the session of  parliament . Any one who want to fight they need to go for canadian lawyer and in the jurisdiction of canada courts.
 
 and modification of such decision cant handle by local visa office.

currently  Local visa office role is send bulk letter posting via agencies or temp hired employees with proper monitoring .

 post activity handled by Immigration ministry  @  Cananda.

If something is done by the Cabinet ,CHC cannot do anything but their work is slowed answering to those objections

To be honest, NDVO should not have started processing our applicaiton if they were not planning to issue medicals.
Its 3 months since in processing for some applicants with no medical request in sight.

Earlier they used to issue medicals within 1 or 2 months of in process, and than 2 to 3 months more for visa.

What happened now?

This is BS attitute. They are giving us false hope. If I was normal RBVO I would not think about this too much.
But now that it is in process my stress level are rising like crazy.
