Hopefully from January 2011, the processing will speed up again.

The processing time mentioned on the site was 10 months for those who applied after Nov 2008 and before June 25, 2010.

We all come under the category, but are almost 10 months or over 10 months now.

Wish there are some good news ahead for all of us. (Hope the 1000 application ceiling will not affect our files)

By the grace of god, we have received our medical call !!!

My consultant just called me that they received my medicals papers yesterday evening.

Hi All,

Just wanted to know, should we do regular medical checkup like Urine, Blood, X-Ray etc.... before going for actual medical???

You don't need to do medical tests before the actual medical.

P.S. Cross check your medical kit before making an appointment

Here are the medical charges: Age above 15 years 2,500/-, Age 11 to 15 years 1,950/-, Age 5 to 11 years 1050, and Age below 5 years 700/-
