Definately this is a good news but you might not aware that london VO and Buffalo VO have been sending MR for pre junes since february and that is too within few days of Inprocess status, this is not the first case. you should check staraliheader 's thread for london VO. |

I am not sure but please check it CIC will accept mutual funds because mutual funds are linked to share market and amount will be fluctuates from day to day.... |

In these two years fund has come down a bit. So if I keep the required amts in FDs with 6 - 8 months maturity would it matter? I had read that FDs can be shown too as long as they equal the amount required for a family of 4.(and they can be either in my name or that of my spouse)

@ Sokhi2010, You are absolutely right on track to believe that POF is OK even if they are in FDs/ Prime applicant or spouse's name. Maturity is irrelevant. But then here the face value or Invested amount should be taken as the base and NOT the maturity (Principal + Interest) amount. Got it? Also FDs need to be from a nationalized/scheduled Bank. FDs or Companies may not be recognized by CHC! Lastly during the process, at any given time do not let the required amount to go below 75-80% of required POF.V. Imp!!! Best Wishes, Bestpal |
