Dear friend, Do think that DECISION MADE is bug. When Accenture is working with the CIC and CBSA to provide their officers with a comprehensive and consistent view of a client's information by implementing a Global Case Management System. CIC and CBSA employees provide a full range of citizen and immigration programs—from processing visitor applications to handling requests for permanent residence—at a time of increasing workloads and demands for greater accountability and results.
Accenture Awarded Contract to Help Citizenship and Immigration Canada Develop Global Case Management System
Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has awarded Accenture a contract to help CIC design, develop and deploy a global case management system that will be used in Canada and at overseas missions to support the management of immigration and citizenship programs.
This first contract, which involves validating the business requirements and developing the high-level system design, is valued at approximately $4.8 million (US$3.1 million).
The new system will replace 14 of CIC's core legacy systems and will include full case histories on individuals and links to related files, making it easier for department employees to access and manage data. The system is also expected to help CIC streamline its operations and facilitate information sharing with key stakeholders.
Each year the CIC processes approximately 1.3 million visitor, citizen, immigrant and sponsorship applications; 320,000 employment and student authorizations; and 40,000 refugee claims, in addition to fielding 4.5 million calls.
"Like other immigration organizations, CIC is striving to improve customer service and adopt customer relationship management practices that are prevalent in the corporate world," said Graeme Gordon, the partner responsible for Accenture's Immigration, Justice and Security practice. "With the new case management system and some reengineered processes, the CIC should be able to operate more efficiently and improve its customer service."
The Accenture team working on the global case management system also includes Microsoft, Siebel and Ajilon, a Canadian professional services supplier with expertise in customer relationship management.

Hi,
I was very saddened to read this quote about me.
"I have read many posts of the man , he always contradicts you and always has a negative opinion on all aspects be it Jobs for docs, nurses, accountants etc. etc. I suggest you stay away from him. Not good for your positivism."
I have always tried to be as helpful and encouraging as I could be. I never meant to contradict anyone, just give my opinions as to why I thought they may not be correct. After all I do live here. I believe you will all do very well over time and be successful. If I tell you that Saskatoon has extremely cold and brutal weather it's meant to enlighten you, not put you down. You could find out for yourselves on Google.
Maybe Saskatoon is a better choice for some, but I do not believe it's the wisest choice for most, but it's not my decision, it's yours. Check the website Monster.com. There are thousands of financial jobs here in Toronto.
I have no motive to be negative or anything else. I love this city and perhaps is colors my judgement. Personally Saskatoon would seem like Hell on Earth, but it may be Heaven on Earth to someone else. Obviously some people like it or it wouldn't exist.
As for accountants and doctors, I'm not sure what that's about. You do have to re-qualify and it does take time. I think the Canadian government could do a better job of explaining that, but there are plans in the works to speed accreditation.
I'm really sorry if anyone here has felt that I have been negative towards them. My intent was the opposite.
Sincerely,
MB

Didn't hear a good news from anyone on this blog for the last three weeks.
Worried, whether the immigration department is again sitting on our files.

Hey Gashe, I know it's v. frustrating to wait for such a long time (in ur case atleast 24+ months total) but unfortunately we have no choice I personally have stopped thinking about the whole Canada immigration thing and only occassionally catch up with it. Regarding ecas status, are u getting anything at all on it and if so is it RBVO or In Process? Also I guess ur 2nd AOR must be in Dec '10 or Jan '11 so the VO will not bother to do anything for the next few months (I hope I am wrong in this). The reason for not getting auto reply might be technical issues (it has also happened to me twice when I communicated with NDVO though I also got auto-response a few times) or I guess your email address might have been blocked (this is unlikely). If u really want to contact ur VO, u can try calling them up or sending them snail-mail. Alternatively, approx. 300 ppl. worldwide (including NVO) have already filed lawsuits against CIC and u can check up unfaircic.com if u feel like joining them, though I feel u should wait some more time. Rgds, DBag
