all my funds are lying in my saving accounts,now when its not sure when the things got to be move,i am thinking of converted into FIXED DEPOSITS giving me an attractive returns,,,,,is it advisable at this stage?
and if i do this,how should i inform the CHC?

I had Term deposits at a lower rate of interest,so I had them renewed at a higher rate of interest,got the copies notarized and send them to Vo in acknowledgement Post. Since you are going for a term deposit try "Yes Bank" They pay higher Interest than other banks.and the best part is Their Interest also gets compounded after three months DBC

Not advisable really. You are not going to get hard money considering the opportunity income.The more letters you sent, the more VO's will delay your process. It is mentioned in the CIC website. |

The thing about POF is that you should be able to provide the same when asked by VO. It does not matter, even if you have converted the same from one form to another (from cash to FD or from FD to bank account). You need not to intimate the same to your VO. Sending documents will delay processing and is of no use.

Dont you feel that concealing change in circumstances will not land you in trouble. What is better delay or denial ?? I agree with KDSTTL.

hi DBC denial after delay is the worst. if CHC gives us guarantee that they will issue us the visa, say after 1 year, then people would be ready to wait for even 2 yrs. atleast they are sure that after the long wait, they will get what they want. but right now, all we have done is just shot the arrow in the dark. if it hits the target, then good, or we are back to square one. |

Hi DBC,
I believe change in form of Fund is not change in circumstances. If your current POF meets the requirements, then there won't be any problem even if the form has changed from one you mentioned in your application.
The crux is that you should have enough amount to show required POF. This is my opinion. I may be wrong. What do you think?
