THANK YOU FIREWORKS, JASSI_COOL1980, AND DBC FOR YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS MATTER.
CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG, THAT WORK PERMIT IS AN INDEPENDENT AND DIFFERENT VISA CATEGORY. ON THEIR WEBSITE, THEY SAY THAT IF ONE HAS A VALID JOB OFFER FROM A CANADIAN EMPLOYER, THEN A WORKPERMIT CAN BE ISSUED TO AN APPLICANT. ALSO IN THEIR WEBSITE, THEY HAVE STATED THAT THE PROCESSING TIME FOR A WORK PERMIT APPLICATION FROM NEW DELHI CHC IS 1 MONTH FLAT.  AND AEO IS A DIFFERENT CATEGORY AND  IS ATTACHED WITH PERMANENT RESIDENCE VISA ?. I THINK I AM PRETTY MUCH SURE THAT WORK PERMIT AND AEO ARE 2 DIFFERENT THINGS.
ONE APPLICANT ( LAXMIKANTHMS )-- NOC 0213, LANDED IN CANADA ON A WORK PERMIT, JUST BEFORE HE GOT HIS PR VISA. AND HE IS A PRE JUNE 2010 APPLICANT.

CONGRATS TO SSAKAL FOR MEDICALS. SO NOW ITS OFFICIAL THAT CHC ND HAS STARTED WITH APRIL 2010 FT DATE CASES.

yes it is a different visa category then AEO. while AEO can be attached to your file , work permit can't. by looks of it you will get your file processed in two three months anyway , so why you wanna take somebody Else's help when you are almost there to reap fruit of your labor. and if something goes wrong to your current file you will have backup. everybody giving opinion here are giving on the basis of what they will do in the circumstances , at least this what i do when giving opinion. so work permit should be backup to your file not a up front thingy. yes frds are helpful and so is the case more often then not . but still being stayed abroad for quite sometime these things haunt you in future when you are well settled and want to draw your own course . so choice is yours not mine.

yes jassi_cool1980
i think u r right. i should not tamper with my PR application, and keep the work permit option as OPTION B.
i can always procure a work permit anytime, but if PR becomes null and void, then i have to start from scratch again, after waiting for more than one year.
so yes, i am dropping my plan for work permit till i get a response for my PR application
thanks again

Hitesh

Work permit to canada is a herculean task not many people get through, they are very strict and will give it without AEO.

And

AEO is if you have a job offer and for this too CHC takes 6 Months Plus as they verify the job offer.Since many AEO are fakes CHC is extra cautious.
In This category you have to make sure the employer has Patience with you

"tarak"is AEO and is in waiting for ever and ever read his thread for info

GIST

Stick to you category of application

hi dbc
is that so ?
from the views of jassi_cool1980 and yours, it seems that work permit option is a tough nut to crack.
i better stick to my PR application. but GOD FORBIDDING, if my PR visa is refused, then what is my remaining option to IMMIGRATE TO CANADA ?
you guys seem to be experts on this matter, pls let me know.
regards
hitesh
