What does "further background verification" mean? How long does it take?
Is this after "backgroung check"?

Can any body give the answers to following questions as these are the most famous questions after getting 2AOR for April-2010 candidates

1- How much time CHC london will take to verify the documents after sending the 2AOR.
2- How the applicant will be known that d=his verification process of documents has been completed.
3- How the applicant to be known about Positive Eligibility report(PER) or Negative Eligibility Report(NER).
4- After completion of verification of documents, how much time HC london will take to issue MR

can any one help me for above questions with his expertise

thank you for your reply...

it means exactly what it says " further background verification" . usually they do these kind of verification on people with military background or other armed forces background, or you have a negative report through their normal channels. time limit in these cases could vary from one month to 1 or 2 or even three years. so best of luck. as chc depends on external agencies for these kind of verification who might further depend on other govt. agencies so this check is not time bound .

CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG, THAT WORK PERMIT IS AN INDEPENDENT AND DIFFERENT VISA CATEGORY. ON THEIR WEBSITE, THEY SAY THAT IF ONE HAS A VALID JOB OFFER FROM A CANADIAN EMPLOYER, THEN A WORKPERMIT CAN BE ISSUED TO AN APPLICANT. ALSO IN THEIR WEBSITE, THEY HAVE STATED THAT THE PROCESSING TIME FOR A WORK PERMIT APPLICATION FROM NEW DELHI CHC IS 1 MONTH FLAT. AND AEO IS A DIFFERENT CATEGORY AND IS ATTACHED WITH PERMANENT RESIDENCE VISA ?. I THINK I AM PRETTY MUCH SURE THAT WORK PERMIT AND AEO ARE 2 DIFFERENT THINGS.
ONE APPLICANT ( LAXMIKANTHMS )-- NOC 0213, LANDED IN CANADA ON A WORK PERMIT, JUST BEFORE HE GOT HIS PR VISA. AND HE IS A PRE JUNE 2010 APPLICANT.

CONGRATS TO SSAKAL FOR MEDICALS. SO NOW ITS OFFICIAL THAT CHC ND HAS STARTED WITH APRIL 2010 FT DATE CASES.
