yep that is for sure, there are few things which he can build up without informing boss but there are significant number of things in which he has to have confidence of his boss , otherwise no point doing those . i wonder how he made exp. letter without his boss's approval

Saskatoon

and its surroundings has become the fastest growing and youngest area, according to a recent release of Statistics Canada. International immigration is considered the main reason for the growth.



Last Thursday, Statistics Canada released the latest population estimates, which shows that Saskatoon replaced Alberta's major cities to be the fastest-growing metropolitan area in Canada for the first time in decades.

The population of Saskatoon has now exceeded 265,000 people, which means a three percent increase in comparison with the previous year, and a jump of more than 30,000 people since 2005. Vancouver and Regina rank the second and the third for fastest growth.


According to Statistics Canada, the sharp increase in international immigration is the main factor that results in significant growth of Saskatoon. Saskatoon did see a flow of more than 3,300 new immigrants during the year, even higher than major Canadian cities such as Hamilton and Quebec City. This is due to the province's expedited application program.

The more surprising result of the release is about the age statistic. In the pan-Canadian trend of a rapidly aging population, the Saskatoon region is now the youngest of the metropolitan areas in the country, with the average age of 35.6. As well as high birth rates among the aboriginal population, the immigration of young families from overseas countries is seen as the key reason for that record.

Last year, Canada saw the highest level of immigration in more than 50 years, according to a recent announcement from Jason Kenney, Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and Parliamentary Secretary Dr. Alice Wong.



Minister Kenney stated that even though the recession made other Western countries cut down on their number of immigrants, Canadian government kept immigration levels high. "In 2010, we welcomed the highest number of permanent residents in the past 50 years to support Canada's economic recovery while taking action to maintain the integrity of Canada's immigration system with the introduction of the Preventing Human Smugglers from Abusing Canada's Immigration System Act.", he added.

Preliminary data shows that in 2010, Canada admitted 280,636 permanent residents, mostly skilled economic immigrants. In comparison with the government's planned range of 240,000 to 265,000 new permanent residents for 2010, exceeding the planned number of immigrants by about six percent. It is also 60,000 higher than the average annual intake of permanent residents admitted by the Government of Canada in the 1990s.

The record number of economic immigrants last year has had a positive impact on Canada's economy, and has been helped along by decreased application backlogs in the federal skilled worker category, reduced wait times under the Action Plan for Faster Immigration, and filled gaps in the work force.

During 2010, Canada admitted 182,322 temporary workers and 96,147 foreign students. Canada also welcomed 7,265 government-assisted refugees and 4,833 privately sponsored refugees.

Canadians more positive towards immigration than US and Europe

According to a poll released last Thursday, Canadian attitudes toward immigration are hardening but Canada still remains more positive attitude as compared to other Western nations including the US and Europe.



The annual survey, done by a Washington-based think-tank, looked at public perception of a wide variety of immigration issues in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain. And it maintains that Canada is the most welcoming nation to the immigrants who want to live and work in Canada.

Around two-thirds of Canadians agreed that people immigrating to Canada have been successfully integrated into their society. The statistics show that respondents who felt in 2010 that immigrants helped create jobs by establishing new businesses down is down from 75 per cent in 2009 to 67 per cent in 2010. And the proportion of Canadians who thought immigration "enriches" culture by bringing in new customs and ideas slipped from 65 to 60 per cent. However in both cases, the numbers were significantly higher than those from the US and Europe.

The majority of the survey respondents from the US (73%), the UK (70%), Spain (61%), France (58%), and the Netherlands (54%) believed that their government was doing a poor job in managing immigration. Only Canadians were split, with 48% feeling positive and 43% responding negatively about their government's handling of immigration to Canada.

Delancey Gustin – the author of the 2010 Immigration Public Opinion Survey said that Canadians are quite positive about immigration and they seem to be less bothered by issues of immigrants taking away their jobs leading to lower wages. She also stated that Canadian government policies and more importantly Canadian geography drive public attitudes.

i didn't sent photocopy , as they must have XEROX machine in there office
