1. Case specific query is kind of email to chc except you do on the format they have provided you, they may reply back by a standard reply or if you are lucky may send you detailed reply as happened in my case. it is free. 2. CAIPS notes are the observations made by VO or others during various stages on your file. this service not free and they have to reply you back . it takes time . but gives you a chance to read the mind of VO. and why there is a delay etc. go to this link if you want to apply " http://www.lawpoint.ca/index.php/Online-CAIPS-request.html" one of the best sites to provide caips notes, or if you have relative in canada he can do that for you. answered to best of my ablities |

any alternative to request it Directly to the CIC/VO?
i know sumone in Toronto who can do it for me, i read long time back, this medium's fees r quite lower. pls mention its link as well.

Hi Anil,
You need to fill the form
1. IMM5475 (authority to release personal information) 1 for you & 1 for spouce
2. Covering letter (Not compulsory, but better to send)
3. IMM5563 signed by your friend or relative in CANADA
4. CAD $5 cheque
