Overall inventory has reduced from 160k to 136k for Post Feb 2008 applicants. This represents 15% reductions in inventory. It will be more interesting to see figures in first week of Oct 2012 once they publish inventory for 2nd QTR.
If they are doing only 24000 cases then it will take years to clear the backlog

24k in one qtr. Over the year it way jump to more than 75k reduction in inventory as a safe guess. So by end 2013 they should have clean ground to play.

It's bad you are giving up, we gotta get to the bottom of this. This thread will die if we don't get our answers and just sit around without getting answers also there must be something and we gotta know this something to be prepared

Hi,

Now that they postponed receiving new applications to January to be able to clear backlog, I think that you will be receiving good news in the 2nd half of this year..

Best wishes guys

Check these statistics, truly shocking stuff

Between April 2011 to March 2012 LVO processed 5,060 cases of MI-1 and rejected 3,683  at an approval rate of 27%. Approval rate for new streams (MI-2 and MI-3 is more than 90%).

80% of the cases were processed within 29 months.

Excellent Info:

But the reason is fairly clear, MI-2 & 3 Applicants have to submit complete application package including JD's (The most common reason for refusal of MI-1 applicants) to CIO NS hence their applications are pre-assed at this initial stage & chance of refusal are quite low when submitted to VO's unlike M-1 applicants that only submitted filled forms and no docs/ proof to CIO NS.

But the Positive thing in this data is that No of Visa's Issued to MI-1 applicants are almost 38% of total visa's issued to FSW in last one year while for MI-2 & 3 applicants this no is only 9.2% .

This thread is dying because of no updates, on average one comment a day is posted may be for the reason that it's gonna take a long way to go from here to get the medicals LVO was right of saying that wait for a year before our files are reviewed things were expected in July but it looks like LVO is not moving
