Hi coolguy,
Your timeline is same as mine...but my agent said they still havent got the waiting letter till date...I am bit worried in may 2012 my RBVO status changed to IN PROCESS.
WHAT SHOULD I DO...I ALSO NEED TO MAINTAIN 30k CAD in my bank...should I keep the amount in India or in GCC...I am confused coz intially I showed them the Oman bank account and now I transfered all my funds to India due to high interst rate and have been keeping my funds in Oman since 2 year without any benefits.
Plz advice

It is suggested to go for CAIPS as it can only answer ur concerns, if u haven't got any update since may. Secondly, it's not a big concern, u need to have amount maintained with a proper justification/history, if they have any concern, they will ask for POF and then u can show them the amount no matter where it's maintained |

Thanks for showing interest in list dear however the list we r maintaining is of the members issued with 6-12 months hold letters only, the general list is maintained on starali's forum, plz don't mind  As per my understanding, u haven't got this letter till now so u might not get it and will be moved to next step straight away but plz it is highly recommended to go for CAIPS ... |

Hi Marchie, Nothing to worry about waiting letter (whether received or not), as long as your case is "In process". Regarding Funds, I have also done the same thing i.e moving funds from Dubai to India getting higher returns. Transferring funds from one bank to another will not be an issue. Hi coolguy,

dear, i have also my consultant, and they are doing everything on my behalf to get caips and its for free, i am not paying anything, me and wife only signed a form and send to them, request your consultant to do it for you, take care. |

Dear all,
I received my 6-12 months waiting letter on 05-04-2012. I ordered my CAIPS and it mentions that my submitted PCC have expired and they would need Police Certificates again from Pakistan. However I have not received any request for updated docs till date. My 6 month will complete on 04-Oct-2012, so any request for updated documents would probably be after this date. Since I am going to Pakistan for Eid, it will be easier for me to obtain police certificates now from Lahore in person. I need your advice on the following:
1)Should I go ahead and get PCC now or should I wait for CHC request.?
If I get police certificates now, what would be their validity for CHC, one year or 3 months? Remember I already submitted my PCC but they have expired as per CAIPS notes.
