i has asked for CAIPS and recieved a 35 page GCMS document.

When u applied for CAIPS? and when u recieve ? through which site u have ordered? recieved by email or post?

what i observed that some ppls are getting it with in process with date but others are at the time of issuing the wait letter, any thoughts?  

Bro they start processing and then enter SELDEC and PSDEC. Moreover, the C50 letter sent date is also reflecting in our CAIPS which shows that they completed the review and then issued the letter. Above all, the letter itself states that the review is done and found eligible etc. etc.

thanks for the clarification senior, actually the time taken on my wait letter amazed me to make this inquiry, as my wait letter is dated 4.7 and in process is 24.5, so, it took 41 days to issue the "wait/eligibility letter" for me, others got it in 7 to 30 days on an average.

so as per your understanding, when e-cas with date shows, it means psdec-1 and seldec-4, right?

sama2010 , it actually depends on what option you choose while applying for CAIPS.

from which site u applied? after how many days u got CAIPS? write back to that email and state this problem and ask them to attach PDF sent it by email

I already DID & waiting for their reply dear K_S 
I order it through caipsnote.com ,i orderd it on 16/jun/2012 & today morning they informed me that my caips file is recived but unluckly i failed to download it from thier website  hope this wil be resolved soon

Firstly, Ecas is not administered by the people who r reviewing ur file. Secondly, why u r over thinking bro its simple, they review and when they feel its satisfactory, they send medical or this letter... Bro keep it simple

i used a relative in canada. it took about 3 weeks for the report to come. hope that helps

My  PSDEC  &  SELDEC was  entered on 25/04  and letter issued next day  i,e;  26/04.  Received letter  a day after (28/04).

so it means psdec and seldec are not always done on the date of first BFD's (beginning of in process with date) rather it is done on the day of issuing wait letter, is it ONLY in your case or happening to all wait letter holders, as far as non-wait letter holders, i believe, their psdec and seldec are done on the date of in process with date starts, just my sole opinion.

Yes  my  in process date in e case is also  25/04, the date decisions were entered. No idea is it a general trend or ONLY in my case.
