Hmmmm right but do you think they will enter 2013 with this backlog again.. In my opinion they wont, as the current freeze on new applications is to start 2013 with new policy where they can concentrate and entertain applications within timelines, which is not possible with backlog.... My opinion, others may differ....

making wild guesses sometime increase concerns.  we are over-concerned here.  I believe in what i have said earlier. take faith in Allah..He will do better.

But after MR it's another 6 months process, how they can clear the backlog?
so why its not 12 month wait... why it says 6- 12 months wait...what was need for keeping 6?

Dealing the MR cases is a lesser panic than starting over a new leaf.  MR is not a backlog, as compared to the applications pending reviews.

2. background checks usually take 6 months period or more depending on te cases.  Thats why they have mentioned 6 or 12.. means they would wind up or take us to the final stages within that time frame.   Things are moving fast, and would move faster, in coming couple of weeks.  Above all, please do not cross comparison each other cases, as it would panic us, not would relieve us.

we should also remember that.. We deserve for immigration, but giving immigration is their privilege..either they give or take away, its rests with them.

It will be great if something starts moving in the coming couple of weeks, also on average 3 months have passed out of the 6-12 months wait

Dear
Is there any method to ask LVO
Why did they send wait/hold letter?

It's bad you are giving up, we gotta get to the bottom of this. This thread will die if we don't get our answers and just sit around without getting answers also there must be something and we gotta know this something to be prepared

No need for asking them they already told you"don't contact us for 12 months and you are eligible for processing and don't make plans for selling your property or quiting your job because you are still subject for verifications and admissibility checks"

Overall inventory has reduced from 160k to 136k for Post Feb 2008 applicants. This represents 15% reductions in inventory. It will be more interesting to see figures in first week of Oct 2012 once they publish inventory for 2nd QTR.
