Hello Everyone!

NOC 1122 has made a tremendous jump in number of completed applications received, and I have been reading a lot of worried / pessimistic / anxious messages recently, so I thought I'd offer a new perspective.

First, it is mere speculation to try and predict any trend or sequence of fee processing. The simple fact is that when a complete application package is received by the CIO, they will either charge your credit card or encash your cheque. Credit card notifications come within a few days while bank draft confirmations can take weeks. If you haven't received confirmation that your payment has been accepted, wait a little longer. Remember, it has only been a month since the cap was revised.

Moreover, even if you find yourself in the unfortunate situation where your package is returned due to any reason, do not let it cause you unnecessary distress. My own application was returned last year because it did not reach the CIO in time. However, my preparation for the first application enabled me to be very swift this time around.

For those who have not yet applied, I encourage you to do so even if you fear that you may not be able to submit your application before the NOC 1122 cap fills up. From my experience, preparing the package for the first time is the hardest. From then on, you merely need to revise certain things and you are good to go!

So 259*550 CAD$ already in their pocket

if thats the case that they put the number only after charging then for NOC 3112 on 27th July the number was 4 and on 27th July the number is 3 howcome they reduced it by 1.

It is not Typo mate. This happened with a couple of other NOCs as well. Just check out one more.

Hi refer to you quote you have mentioned both dates 27 July
actually it is 27th July 3112 application count was 4
and on 29th July 3112 application count was 3

hey my application was received on 27th July, so according to my representative i must have made it into the 259 people list.

Heard through my consultant that the application format changed on the 18th of this month, will this chnage have any effect on the application processing by the CIC, in terms that it may give some glimmer of hope for the late senders?

ya heard the same, so had to delay my application too. all the applications going after 18th i.e. with the old application format will be send back.

Please note as pointed out by Viz cic has recorded 4 application on 27th July here is the link check page number 45 (cant past the link)
and on 29th July 2011 they reduced it by one as per my understanding it means that they receive the application and count it; but after close evaluation (they might have realized some document is short or wrong payment details) they reduced by one.

Hence one can infer that all 259 application are not got there card checked, they are still in process of checking the documents and once they get through they would charge CC/BD.. so this count is not sacrosanct..

BTW looks like somebody hasd deleted my entry from the spreadsheet, I do not know who that great person was , who does not even want me to keep up the faith for a few days though I'm a late sender..

Hi everyone, its good to see everyone's comments on here... my hubby has actually gone today to MCR uni to sit his his IELTS tests!! He didnt seem a happy bunny as he had to wake up at 5.30am - but he is the principal applicant hence having to take the test.

We just hope that our application is received in time before the cap is reached (Noc 1114) Financial planner     as you all are probably aware they have reduced the no of applicants down to 500 per job spec.

Yes I think the same in that case this count doesnt mean that the payments are done for all these applications.

Yeah its always the hubby who has to bear the burden, I totally understand that being a hubby myself...
