Thank you Dr.Hasib and Shijoal. So kind of you to respond instantly.
I wonder if I can really go by the figure they have posted in their website, as I find it hard to believe that only 5 applications would have been rcvd in my category. More so only 52 applications in a category as popular as 1122. In any case, I guess thats all we have to refer. My IELTS test has been postponed to 13 Aug now. Just got a call from the Institute. So I can apply only is the beginning of September I guess. Dont know if I will make it within cap.
Shijoal - I was told by my consultant that it is not required to send the transcripts in sealed envelopes while applying from New Delhi. Do you suppose I can trust his word?
Also we got married in a temple, so I have just a letter (in regional language) as a proof of marriage. Do you think, if I translate this to english and get it notorised, it will serve the purpose of a marriage certificate? Or do we necessarily have to get registered in the court of law?
Another query is, can I show my spouse's bank statement for proof of funds? [/quote
since you have more time to submit your case, u can definitely apply for official transcript. if u find very difficult only u take the second option. marriage certificate is much important document so try for it from court of law. proof of fund can be yours or your spouse.
hope it is clear now.

its pretty surprising that 52 application for 1122 and 26 for 3152 and not 1 of them is on one on this forum has reported that that their CC or BD has been encashed.

I agree, it is strange the fact that 52 applications has been reviewed as completed for NOC 1122 and not even one of us have had their cc or bd encashed... On the other hand, today I saw another post where one who applied in June communicated that he/she got its bd encashed... Let's just hope it doesn't take that long....Anxiety is killing me

Thats good so they have reached the June files... But thinking about it the new list came out end of June so does this mean that 52 applications reached in the 1st 2 days of the new list? It looks like they have processed applications received on the first few days of July and it took them until now to say 155 are complete. This could be the number of applications received on day 1 minus incomplete applications. Most members in the forum had their applications received on or after July 4th and I guess that is why no CC is charged so far.

A bit of math here. I just went through the spread sheet for applicants after 26 June 2010. I found a total of 515 forum members in the spread sheet where as 13000/20000 were received last year by CIO. Looking at this I understand that less than 3% of the applicants are forum members. Now, I looked at July 2011 spread sheet. I see 50 forum members have sent out their applications which means the CIO could have roughly received 1700 applications. Sorry, if I am confusing. Does this make any sense so far?

I'm new in this forum. Planning to apply for canadian immigration FSW1. I'm confused about points given for experience. I have 10 years of experience in telecommunication but only last 2 years in Marketing Prodcut Development which is under 1122. However, all the 8 years are technical which not listed in currently opened NOCs. How many points will be given for my experience ......? They will consider only 2 years in marketing that will be 17 points or 21 points considering other years on NOCs not listed ....?

Hi Wasel, You will get only 17 points. However, 1122 is a high demand NOC. If you begin your application process now, I am afraid you will not make it before the cap is reached. You might have to wait until next July to submit your application. If you have a job offer, the cap does not apply to you. You can always apply. Good Luck with your application. Thank you very much NKKD Hortons, Im almost ready with all my documentation, PCC, IELTS and will dispatch my file tomorrow. I was delayed waiting for my relative notarized documents. I was almost fooled by consultant that told me you only need to have one year of experience in one of the listed NOCs and other years will be also considered to get maximum points of 21. Now Im doing it my own with relative points I will reach 68 points.

Any one have any idea about it
Can anyone answer my question please. To claim 25 points for education 17 years of masters or PHD degree is required. I have done masters from Pakistan and completed MBA finance in December 2004 and that masters degree followed by a Bachelors degree BSc.
I came to UK and completed another masters MBA in International Management. Can anyone tell me that my education would be considered as masters degree completed in 17 years of full time education or not. Do i get 25 points for education or not? Waiting for response please
