So finally CIC has updated the site -

Applications received toward the overall cap: 155 of 10,000 as of July 21, 2011

I cant believe that they have just received 52 application for 1122. Unless they have just started opening the post July2011 applications packs today and updated the site. I hope we will see now regular posts.

Finally CIC updated CAP count statistics today!!
Good news for all who wish to apply this year, so far only 155 applications received by CIC as of 21st July for 29 NOC's.

These two NOC's .. NOC 1122 (52 applications) , NOC 3152 (26 applications) - contributing more than 50% of total applications received.

Just surprised by CAP numbers, 1122 reached just 52, such a low count. I was predicting it will reach 500 by this month end. Its way below compared to last year. with this pace will it take 10 months to reach CAP??!!
Interesting thing is 50% of 1122 members are here from forum. lets share info each other.guys, keep an eye on your CC transactions and post in forum if your card charged

   one thong is for sure. if they say noc 1122 has reached 55 , the actual no would be much more than that. more than 100 would be pending.

I dont think any of our forum members with CC payment mode are included in the 52 mentioned for 1122, else they would have known immediately. Members with DD mode of payment, plz check. The only satisfaction is that they have started updating the website. So most of us will know our status in another 15-20 days. All the best to all.

So far from my point of view, CIO has updated the total complete application of which they have opened the files and have finished reviewing it and not the total application received. As I am pretty sure there r more than 52 application of NOC 1122 till today's date. Just my 2 cents.

I am going for my IELTS exam on 30th July and the result will be out on 13th. But I will get the hard copy only on 16th Aug. At best I can send in my application only by end of Aug.

My NOC is 0631. Will this NOC be already full by the time I apply? I am really anxious. Please post yout thoughts on this.

Second query is: What is a transcript of education? Is it the marksheets?

Third query: If I am applying via New delhi office, is it necessary to be sent in sealed envelopes from the university? That would be quite a hassle for me.

i assume  that ur noc will not reach cap by aug.
u can get the transcripts(marklist in inia) from university in weeks time.
u can submit application for official transcript in university with copies of marklists. they will seal that and send to you.

I wonder if I can really go by the figure they have posted in their website, as I find it hard to believe that only 5 applications would have been rcvd in my category. More so only 52 applications in a category as popular as 1122. In any case, I guess thats all we have to refer. My IELTS test has been postponed to 13 Aug now. Just got a call from the Institute. So I can apply only is the beginning of September I guess. Dont know if I will make it within cap.

Shijoal - I was told by my consultant that it is not required to send the transcripts in sealed envelopes while applying from New Delhi. Do you suppose I can trust his word?

Also we got married in a temple, so I have just a letter (in regional language) as a proof of marriage. Do you think, if I translate this to english and get it notorised, it will serve the purpose of a marriage certificate? Or do we necessarily have to get registered in the court of law?

Another query is, can I show my spouse's bank statement for proof of funds?
