Daljit I guess they have included you in the cap. Hence you didn't get 'returned due to cap reached' mail. Also, If you can confirm if your BD has been processed then you sure are in the cap & in queue for eligibility review.

Hi Sandysurrey,

I have noticed that you have applied in May 2010 and have not rcvd your Visa yet. Is it that you havent updated your dates, or does it really take that long?

Wondering.........

Shaju4uonly,

I agree with Sandysurrey. They have made it SO EASY to apply on your own. The documentation is also very simple now. They have just one checklist (not VO specific cheklist like earlier). Just read the CIC website thorughly. And this forum of course is a boon.
First go to this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp and scroll right down. You will see a list of PDFs. Start reading from the Instraction Guide, and then go on to read the rest of the PDFs as well. You will be confused in the beginning but by the time you re-read them the second time, everything will be clear.

You may see a consultant, just to get your free assesment done (which also you can do on your own actually), and initial free advice. Thats it! Beynd that you launch on it yourself. If you have a straight forward case, you can easily save the money and the hassle of dealing with a consultant. That is my personal opinion.

All the best

I would suggest you to apply on your own as you can get all the information on this forum also if you need any assistance you can always take the help of people like Qorax on this forum.

I had the same question but I guess it is in order for them to return your application if something goes bad, right?

Anyone else planning to apply in October? Any specialist physicians? Any one as worried as we are? Smiley

Please see below the response that I received from the CIO and also the details that I had sent them. Please advise what should have happened here, is it really that the DHL tracking number is needed? Has anyone shared that information with them?

Good Morning

Dear Shijoal,

Write down your mailing address and your phone number in bold "twice" on an A4 size paper. One below the other. Take a print out of the same and send it along with the rest of the documents. This is for them to use it to send you a courier or mail if required.

Trust this helps.
