Your application won't be rejected. However submitting a federal skilled worker application while you're here on a business visa will not allow you to stay in Canada until the application has been processed. You still need a valid visa if you want to stay in Canada.

this I understood, but if I overstay, what happens, will this affect processing of skilled worker visa?

And what happens if I apply to Canada visa office to extend my business visa and I show them offer/invitation from Canadian party, or what if I gain job offer in Canada while I am on my business visa trip and I will show it to them as well?

thanks a lot

Yes - it could affect your application if you overstay, are caught and deported - and are issued an exclusion order.

Yes - you can certainly apply to extend your business visa. However it takes a fairly long time for a federal skilled worker application to be processed and I think it's extremely unlikely that you will be able to keep extending a business visa to cover this waiting period.

If you get a job offer in Canada, your employer will have to first apply for a Labour Market Opinion to ask approval to hire you. As part of this process, the employer will have to prove that they advertised the role and were unable to find a Canadian to hire for the position. If the Labour Market Opinion is approved, you will then apply for a Work Permit. If the Work Permit is approved, you can then remain in Canada and work. This process can take many months. So you would need to keep your status in Canada valid/legal while you wait.

Hello

thanks for advice

What if I get job offer while I am on my business visit in Canada? Can I then Apply for temporary job visa and also my permanent worker visa time will be shortened as I have offer. Am I correct?
