Third Attempt at contacting Lima office finally received a "Read Receipt"

As I suspected, I think everything at the Cdn Embassy has probably been completely on hold while they made all the arrangements leading up to the signing of the Canada-Peru free trade agreement AT the Cdn Embassy yesterday.
I'm sure for the past 3 weeks no one has done a scrap of regular work so they could all prepare for the big ceremony and celebrations afterwards. Meanwhile, our "final evaluation" sat on someone's desk going nowhere. My first email enquiry on May 26 was not read. My second email on June 4 was not read. I sent the "3rd Attempt" last night with all the previous emails captured and FINALLY a Read Receipt was registered.
Will be interesting to see what lame reasons they come up with, maybe the usual non committal 'in progress, taking more time to review'. What a crock. They are living up to the reputation of Government loafers.
