hi guys June they approved my sponsorship then they send it to colombo embassy July they received  so after while they has send a letter for immigration consultant asking my id copy's and birth certificate and right of landing fee i already done my police reports and medicals while it was approving at Canada.   so i paid everything and all the receipt and what they ask i did hand over them   last year july .. so since then until today i did not get any respond from them . i dont know whats going on how ever they says its in process when i was checking it January
can any one who experts   kindly advise me whats going on and how long more have to wait also any more information

You seem still to be well within the normal processing timeline for the Colombo embassy.  They post a timeline for finalizing spousal aps of 16 months after they receive the application.  So it appears you're about 9 months into the process - you might have to wait awhile yet but no news is good news.  Good Luck.

Married 9'06, ap sent 3'07 & refused in 1'08 due to inadmissible son.  Won appeal 1'10.  Back in process 4'10, new meds req 5'10 - submitted in June.  New FBI submitted 8'10  Approved 30Nov2010! COPR recd 05Jan2011. LANDED 31Jan2011 YAY!

 Grin thx friend im really happy with that answer.but some of the people says they get around 9month everything. hmm do you think i have to wait 16 month ? how much longer i have to wait for a answer from them

evry one can post comment in my post pls

Guys its the 10th month running still never heard from them what probably going on? will it take usual time line? or i have to call the local embassy ?   Cry

send an email or fax to the office to if u like otherwise i guess it takes time so we can do nothing but jst wait and pray , hope u get some response soon
