Hi,

I'm a international student studying and working in Canada and planning to apply for PR in January 2012. I am planning to marry in August 2012 to my fiance(also a sri lankan) who is presently on student visa in USA. my question is what is the quickest method to bring her to Canada.
1. should I legally marry her in USA or Sri lanka and try to sponsor her as soon as possible(while I'm a student) or is this not possible at all?
2. should I wait till  I start my PR application in January next year? how long will that take
3. Is it easier for her to apply for TRV as a spouse?
4. Do you have a better idea

any suggestions, links regarding this issue is much appreciated,
