Rishab,
Thanks for the post it will come in handy.
I my self am in IT and have been applying to many jobs but it seams that the companies i apply to only wont someone local or with a work visa already.
I am wanting to relocate to Canada because there is more opportunity for me there to get my career going on the right track. I have multiple NOCs I can classify my self under (2282, 2147, 2281).
All I really need is a work visa and temorary living visa and im good to go! But I cant get either with out a JOB!
Any suggestions????

Hi Alan,
Its a catch22 of sorts, nobody will give you a job without a visa and nobody will sponsor your visa without a job. I went through the same issue which is why I decided to apply for PR. Once you apply for your PR and get it then it becomes easiert to stay in Canada and look for a job, this is the route I am taking...maybe the senior members could help you further. Also try and check out an option called "Arranged Employment" AEO its a way to speed up your visa processing and also land in canada with a guaranteed job. Try speaking to some of the immigration consultants including Mr.David Cohen whose firm runs this forum. Get as many perspectives as you can and then you can filter the choices and decide on a course of action.
All the Best & God Bless
Cheers, Rishab

Hi Rishabh,
Your post is fantastic simly because it addresses the mental agony and uncertainty found in most people opting for migration. Keep up the good work. On a personal front, my wife and i have applied for PR, through a consultant, with my wife being the principal applicant. Her current work responsibilites match those of the NOC for Financial managers. I myself am into business development / Sales for an IT training firm. My main concern is finding a job asap. Any advice in this regard will be deeply appreciated.
