The Police Certificates and clearances has changed since 1 july 2011!!!, I discovered today!  Huh

Before it Says "If you are submitting your application to the CIO on or after June 26, 2010, the police certificates are not required with your complete application to the CIO. If your application is placed into processing you will be required to provide police certificates to the visa office at a later date".

Now it says: "If your application is received at the CIO on or after June 26, 2010, you are strongly encouraged to submit your police certificates with your application to the CIO. If you are unable to obtain all the necessary police certificates, you may still send your application to the CIO without them. However, please note that if your application is placed into processing you must be ready to submit them to the visa office when requested".

These changes are for us??? I mean for the Federal Skilled Workers??? or only for de Provincial Nomenee???, Because I was looking for send my aplication on friday, I now I am shocked if I need the Policie certificates by now.

Plz answer me.

CIC Website:

We strongly recommend that you submit your police
certificates with your application to the CIO. If you are
unable to obtain all the necessary police certificates, you
may still send your application to the CIO without them.
However, please note that if your application is placed into
processing you must be ready to submit them to the visa
office when requested.

You can send the complete application without PCC if it is not ready. As per CIC website you may send to Visa office later when application is approved for processing.

The latter statement has been in the OP6 guidelines before 1st July 2011.  Both statements state the same thing... you can send the PCCs later and the VO will request for them within a timeline. VOs  are aware that PCCs from some countries take longer (like FBI sometimes).

Yes, I can send it later, when they request for it. Also in my checklist of mi visa office doesnt appear the box for check de Police Certificates, so that means that its no neccesary by now.
