"your family members are your spouse or common law partner, if applicable and your depedent children. you must indicate all your family members (who are not already permanent residents of canadians citizens)

so in regards to the photos... i only need 8 for myself

seeing as only im immigrating and we dont have any kids

Right if that is what appendix A of the office where you are applying states as to the number of photos.
