All documents finished other than my transcripts..... Sad
(My country of residence differ from my home country).

My all transcripts have been arranged and they are on the way to me by a registered post but I don't know how long more......time bomb is tickling.!!

I need to know if there any applicant who got rejected because he/she submitted notarized copies of transcripts instead of submitting them in a University sealed envelope??

With IELTS overall band 8 and all other documents arranged, this wait is pushing me into a danger zone.

I've all original transcripts here with me.

So if I send notarized copy of all transcripts along with an explanation letter explaining my inability of not submitting them in a university sealed envelope due to any strong reason, would that be OK?

Is there any one who has been lucky by doing this way and became part of 739 successful applications received by 19th OCt. (NOC 1122)?

waiting with a pounding heart....

hi rana!

to be on safe side if you have on set of originals why don't you just send them in univ sealed envelope i mean send your original transcripts to india and ask some frind to have them in univ sealed envelope because cic return originals after visa stamping,

what i have learnt so far from this forum that people stressed to send univ sealed transcripts otherwise your application might be returned asking you to send univ sealed transcripts

but if you have included a logical letter explaining you are unable to get univ sealed transcripts it might work , i have no idea whats gonna happen, God knows best and its your luck that will play a part

right...one must do as much as possible according to what and how it has been asked.

I again ask, is there any applicant who got rejected due to submission of notarized copies of his/her transcripts?
The key to my problem lies in the answer of my question aforesaid.

Hello there,

Please see a reply from ND VO for transcripts.

Response to query regarding original transcripts....

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

The sealed transcripts must originate from and bear the seal of the educational institution which originally issued the transcripts.  If the college, affiliated with the university, is the original issuer of the transcripts, you may submit the transcripts sealed by the college.  If not, then you must obtain sealed transcripts from the university.

Universities in India are familiar with our requirements and have not, to date, refused to issue sealed transcripts. If you are unable to obtain sealed transcripts, you may submit notarized transcripts however, they will be subject to close scrutiny and the visa officer may still require sealed transcripts.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

Fellows,
seems I am running out of patience and the time bomb of NOC1122 is tickling..

I am done with all doc. other than my transcripts in a sealed envelope which are still on the way.

My teacher had sent them via registered airmail from India to Bangkok last Thursday and I've got them yet.

He used normal airmail instead of speed post/EMS. So I've no idea how long more it'll take and also I can't track its current location.

However I got the transcripts of my highest qualification (MBA) from my university in UK.

So I'm just planning to send notarized copies of transcripts of my other qualification along with an explanation letter and make my submission asap as it's for sure that NOC1122 will be full at any moment.

Perhaps after I get my transcripts, I'll send them later to added to my file or retain them.
What you guys suggest?

Hi Rana, Punjab university lahore, pakistan does nt issue transcripts in sealed envelopes although they do issue duplicates but it takes two months. so what i am doing is to send the original i have in the university envelope it was initially sent.. though its not sealed but had all postal stamps from university with the same date/month/year my degree was issued. & i will add in the explaination.... what ever you do you must include a convincing explaination.

Thanks Haral...

In my case, I just got my transcripts directly from my college and it differs from the way you got it.
Yes, a sold explanation letter is of course must to support one's inability.

I guess things would be more clear if there was any applicant who got rejected because his transcripts were notarized and not in a university sealed envelope.

I am pinning my hope on my expectation that I'll receive my transcripts by coming weekend.
Else I'll notarize and make my submission by coming Monday or max. tuesday...!!

Rest up to the GOD..!!

I dont think any case was rejected if a valid explaination was given...though if there s no explaination letter than documents would certainly be sent back to the applicant..... Good Luck....

Thanks Haral...
