Hi. I'm new in Canada Immigration issues. I'd like to know how important the "educational field" is in the Skilled Worker Application Criteria.
How much can a poor education background (no diploma, university or so) affect the chances of a skillful professional worker seeking to immigrate to Canada?
Your replies will give way to more questions from me as I seek your assistance.

Thank you!

That's not true. An HND or any other 2 year diploma, (provided you have the required number of years of study) will earn you the same points as a University degree and a good IELTS result will get you the required 67 points.

Okay, and what happens if you don't even have a diploma? I mean, if you just completed high school but have no certificate?

Well, sorry but then you are not classified as an Educated person. You need the certificate of completion to gain even the minimum points under the Education criteria.
