Rabat is a difficult embassy.

Can I ask how long did your friend wait for the interview?
Thanks

Why didn't he tell them he speaks French? Why did they require English?

if the wife speaks only english and he speaks french it won't help him, they have to be able to communicate fluently, the reason for refusal then is that they don't believe the relationship is genuine because they can't communicate

Med,

Would I have a problem, if I put down that my wife speaks fluent french, but we communicate in Arabic? She can speak very little English.

Stealth, as long as you can communicate fluently it doesn't matter in what language, but yes certainly mention the french as it is also spoken here

stealth in r case i dont think its a problem because you are both moroccans so its normal you will communicate through arabic but the fact that she speaks fluent french has to be mentioned its very important too because canda is bilingual , so dont worry over nothing and best of luck
