The canadian Embassy Called Me IN the Second Number and it's dad's number!

Hi Everyone NEED ur advice please
In the end of january my wife applied and started the sponsorship application and in the end of march i received a letter from the canadian embassy here in morocco sying in it they received my case from canada and now they are prossesing and they said it will take 11 months in average
in the forms that i filled i gave them my main fone number about 6 times and they asked for a second number to call me in it in case they can't reach me so i gave them my dad's fone number
Three days ago they called on dad's number saying it's the canadian embassy and dad's said it not his main number and the lady told  him ooh ok i ll call him in the other number ( she even said the number to dad right) and three days now i didnt get any call ..............
any help or advice ..what that call suppose to mean ...and what will happen if i miss it ...THANKS

Hello!  I cannot help you because I don't know what it is supposed to mean!  But I can tell you that my husband is in Morocco and the visa office in Rabat received our application on March 31 and we never received a letter from them

So something must be wrong with our application....

In any case, good luck!!!  I know how stressful it is!

I am guessing that the embassy has a bunch of files piled on some secretary's desk, who calls each one to verify the telephone numbers.  The secretary in effect verified your telephone number by calling the secondary number (by error or by intent I don't know), and hearing your father confirm your main number.  If this speculation is correct, you won't hear from the embassy again about this.

You could always send an email to the embassy mentioning their call, and stating that you are ready for their call.
