The appeal is regarding what? Is is for refusal, deportation or for Residency Obligation? It must be clearly mentioned in the letter giving you right of appeal. If it is for Residency Obligation it is to be done to IAD (Immigration Appeal Division) branch of city where you landed and stayed.

I am sure about Residency Obligation Appeal. I don't have any idea about refusal appeal. For that actually the letter (if u r given right to appeal) or the website (if it is a standard procedure) is to be seen thoroughly.
Also I think the refusal is from local CHC & not from CIO, Sydney. However if u think it's right u can reapply after updating the score achievement & apply after few months / years instead of wasting time, money & energy for appeal. Also u need to check success ratio in the types of your appeals. Also u won't be able to reply till the appeal is finalized once u go for appeal/
Actually I have done so. I could go for appeal regarding 'Residency Obligation of PR'. But instead I gave my Appeal rights, revoked my PR status & now applying again! Anyway it your own choice!

BUT MY THING IF I APPEAL IT THEN I COME TO KNOW IF ACCEPT OR REFUSE MAYBE WITHIN 2 WEEKS, ALSO WHY I DO THAT BECOUSE I LISTEN THEY INTERSTED TO HELP PEOPLE WHO NEED TO GO TO CANADA AND SAME TIME INSTEAD TO APPLY AGAIN AND PAY AGAIN AND TAKE MORE THAN 7 MONTH, I SAID LETS TAKE THE CHANCE MAYBE IT WILL WORK AND SAVE MONEY AND TIME RIGHT?

I would imagine if they gave you a refusal they have also closed your file. I would re-apply. Your choice though.

dear, 'g.byrne' is right... it is always better to reapply. 'coz ur appeal hearing/ review/ finalisation etc shall take another 12-18 months. would u be benifitted ? also, once rejected, it is always better to hire a consultant. i hope that helps. |

So you just want one person to agree with you and forget about what most of us is telling you?
I really don't see a difference whether you appeal for more time or apply again.. basically your appeal will be 99% refused so why waste time, go study and take the ielts exam then reapply again. i don't think anyone here will agree with you so stop wasting time waiting for it and go study.
