tfw having a baby

Hi!
Im a foreign temporary worker in Alberta and Im going to deliver my baby this August. My problem is my work permit will expire this coming November 09. Im on my maternity leave now for 15weeks. Is there any way for me to do to extend my stay here in canada with my baby. In case my employer doesnt want my work permit will renew because they said they can't prove to the CIC that they want to keep me because they are in need of low skilled job to fill the vacancy because im on my maternity leave and capable of 1year leave. Im willing to work after my maternity leave and dont to avail the parental leave just for me to stay legally here in canda just for my baby's sake. Please give me some advice. thanks. more power
