Hi

Some of you have made mention of submitting text records with your application.

I'm with Rogers in Canada and was wondering if anyone knew if this was possible with my service provider. I've tried googling it with no luck so thought I would turn to the forum.

Any feedback would be great!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

It's not something they generally provide in my experience, so the only way to obtain them would be to contact them and ask them directly if you can obtain records of all text messages to/from your phone.

You can't print out your text messages with any phone company. But still if you want to try send your text message to your email account then print it out from there.

If you have an Iphone and you never deleted your messages on your phone, you can do a screen capture of your text messages on your phone and its saved as a picture.

Hi Honeybird... yes, that's exactly what I did.. at first, I just wanted to save my (back then) girl friends first Text message, so I did the Screen Capture.. but then I just did it for the heck of it, and they've always been there... Now for immigration, I had hundreds of them.. I put them all in Iphoto, put them in groups of 16, took a screenshot of Iphoto, then printed them out 5X7.. I just wanted to show that Text messaging is ongoing.. I didn't include all the texts.. just enough to show constant communication.  I cant imagine Rogers or another phone company doesn't know who you called.. These days, they can keep track of everything.. Maybe it's buried in your Sim Card and they can get it and print it out? good luck.. any extra proof is always nice to give.

hiiiiiii Smiley
u don't really need anything from Rogers; as the others said, nowadays any smartphone can be connected with ur pc through some software which u install; u find this software with a little google-ing; for nokia it's called nokia pc suite and it was free; for iphone is not free from what i know
anywho, inside this software u can backup ur contacts, sms, pictures, videos, aaaaanything and a backup is really welcomed from time to time; the sms could be viewed by date, or contact, u can select the visible fields (u can show ur name, his name, a little from the sms if u want and the date) and u take a screenshot; of course if some sms r too private or anything u can arrange that too (u show what u want to show); we made screenshots from both phones and put 2 screenshots per page with Picasa and that's it...a little work but all home made Wink
