Hi,
Let's start with what I have in my online account:

- We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 19, 2010.

- We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called A Look at Canada on August 19, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

- We started processing your application on January 18, 2011.

- Your file was transferred to the Edmonton CIC office on February 21, 2011. The Edmonton CIC office will contact you if additional information is required. The Edmonton CIC office will contact you regarding your citizenship test once all the necessary checks on your file are complete.

And today I receive: NOTICE TO APPER – TO TAKE OATH OF CITIZENSHIP

But I didn't took the test yet and never been asked to do it. Does everybody have to take it? (I am in my 33, so age is not the issue.)

What do you think? Should I be happy or worried that somebody made mistake in my files?

Thank you

Kate

Update for those who ready this.

I visit my local office today and I was told that I supposed to have both notices in this envelop (one for the test and one for the Oath). My test is schedule 2 days before The Oath. So I'm glad I went there.

Wow your case went really fast! This is very encouraging. Could you please update your time line? Have you received the citizenship yet? I can apply next month and came to this forum to find out the average processing time.
Thanks!
