Temporary work Visa

Hi

I am in the process of applying for my temporary work visa. The positive LMO should be in this week, at which time I will submit my application, I have all of the forms ready.

If I submit my work visa application electronically, can I stay in Canada while waiting for it to process?

I have to leave Canada very soon, according to my passport which was stamped at the border when I came into Canada.

It depends on your status in Canada.  If you are a visitor, then you can't apply for a work permit in Canada, it has to be either at the Border or at overseas office.

Ok so when I apply at the border, do they issue work permit then and there?
