temporary resident visa

Hi All,

I am working in New York for the last six years visa expired on April 30, 2008. I obtained new extention valid upto Septeber 2008. I want to get it stamped in Ottawa.  For that i am applying for temporary resident visa.  Is there is any risk factor for denial of visa as i am going for h1 revalidation only for four months.

For how many months duration i have to specify in temporary resident visa form . I am intended to stay for only one month.

Seniors please advice.
