We are landing in Ontario (GTA) in two weeks. Since we will not be able to apply for health  insurance for 3 months, we are looking for a temporary health insurance (basic coverage). Can someone recommend us a health insurance company?

I used Blue Cross Blue Shield. It is essentially traveler's insurance, i.e. does't cover pre-existing conditions, prescriptions, or routine visits... just emergency care and illnesses. It was about $700 for 6 months of coverage back in 2009. Not sure what the rate is now.
