Hey All

As i plan to apply for the Quebec provincial program i am taking some steps to make sure that my french is at least ok for the interview.

I did Advanced french at university many years ago and now i am taking french classes again to brush up on it

My next step is to take the Test d'évaluation du français adapté pour le Québec.

Here are my questions:
1) What is the difference between TEFaQ and TCFQ (Test de connaissance du français pour le Québec) ?  What does each test consist of?
2) Has anyone here done either of those tests?
3) Where could i find sample tests for either of those exams?
4) What kind of results do you get at the end of those exams and how do you choose your level of proficiency on the immigration form by using the results of the test?

I hope someone can give me some deep and meaningful answers

Thanks

The results table for this type of exam is like this:

Elementaire 100 to 199 points
Elementaire avance' 200 to 299 points
Intermediaire 300 to 399 points
Intermediaire avance 400 to 499 points
Superieur 500 to 599 points
Superieur avance 600 to 699 points

So my question is what level do you need to get in order to be successful with your immigration application?
