I am not a lawyer. Any information provided should be verified for its legal stand in the Rule of Land.
My PR application statu: Medicals done on 27th March, resubmitted X-rays on 14th July, resubmitted one medical rpt Aug & got my PPR in Nov.

only an fyi since mostly ppl here are on h1b - who knows, they 'fast-forward' all h1b toward PR...

Just FYI...this bill makes H1B and EB based GC VERY difficult by imposing stricter LC process both for H1B and GC. It will legalize illegals living in US for 5 years and SPECIFICALLY leaving OUT legals like us living in US for 5 years. So, it is there to make Hispanic voters happy. Nothing to get excited about here. It effect illegal immigrants in +ve and legal immigrants in -ve ways.

and about the "fast forward" EB thing you mentioned - it might fast forward EB case only if you pass LC process which will be VERY-VERY difficult (trying to protect US citizen's jobs). It is just like Canadians trying to improve processing time by limiting number of people who can apply i.e. limiting to only 38 occupations instead of almost unlimited occupations.
