Hello everyone,

I have 5 years part-time Teaching and Research assistant experience and I am still working the same part-time job in canada. That means i have definitely have more than one year full-time equivalent experience.  But I am not sure weather I can apply for permanent residence in canada or not. Could you please give me some information?

Thank you for your help.

TA/RA is not in category of 20 professions. So, its a no for FSW 1 with current system in place.
I think 5 years as TA/RA you were a PhD student, so which province did you studies. Ontario has PNP fro PhD and MA student without job offer.
Otherwise take a work permit and then work as TA/RA for a year and then apply under experience class.
