I need some information about taxi fare in Toronto. most probably I need to travel from Mississauga to Toronto, how much will it tentatively cost?

Taxi fare depends on distance (km)
if you hire minivan then you pay extra $10 -$15 on meter reading

if you are not carrying too much to luggage then use transit system its easy and comfortable...

I would like to let you know that Pearson airport is actully located in Mississauga not in toronto, you will be land directly in city of Mississauga.

For 40 K.M it will cost you around $70 CAD for regular taxi and if you need Van then it will be more

thanks for ur reply. I will be travelling from Mississauga to Toronto. not from Airport, somebody will be picking me up at the airport.

the place where I will be staying will be about 20kms away from Pearson airport. I just need a fair idea about taxi fare from the place i live to toronto downtown.

I booked this hotel only to stop our return from a trip to the caribean and we have a complimentary shuttle to Pearson 04:00 until midnight and they have parking if you stay with them, and we also reserve the rental car from the rental of cars zooming in the hotel lobby.

Depends on where in Brampton...
Some parts of Brampton r pretty close to Pearson [Springdale - aka 'Singhdale', Castlemore, Bovaird, Tobram etc.]...
While places like McLaughlin, Chingqusay, Kennedy, Church St. & in fact Downtown [Main St] could be a killer.

Avg.: 40-50 bucks.

Ps.: All should note that we r required to offer 'tips' as well to the driver [usually 10-15% of the fare !].
