I cant find anything about this on here so if anybody has any answers, they would really be appreciated...I am sponsoring my husband with an outland application. When he was here in Canada and before we were together the guy that did his taxes let him claim things that he shouldnt have been able to claim. So now my husband owes alot of money for taxes...Im just wondering if this will affect the sponsorship?...i like to think it wouldnt because if the PRA is approved he would be working here and paying taxes so instead of getting returns each year they would use that money to pay off what he owes them....plz anybody, comments??

Also, our lawyer said the taxes wouldnt effect the application as my husband unknowingly made false claims under the advise of the tax guy...but my lawyer is proving to be unreliable...money well wasted on that one!
