This is my first job in Canada..

I filled out a couple of forms here for tax one was federal and the other one was for ontario...I want to know if i will have to file my own tax return or the pay i  recieve is already be tax deducted?

I emailed the payroll department and they said that "You will be taxed according to your total claim amounts from the tax forms you submitted"

I dont understand, i mean i just recieved my first salary and according to the statement above the salary was not tax deducted?

If you are salaried emploee , your employer should deduct your taxes and send to CRA.
You have to fill your own tax return after Jan 01, but before Apr 30.
You can find tax calculator here http://www.ey.com/CA/en/Services/Tax/Tax-Calculators-2011-Personal-Tax
