I really dont see anywhere in the article where it says they will "Suspend" the program. Of course they are trying to clear the backlog and thats why the are placing stricter caps each year. I dont see a need for creating panic bassed on nothing written.

@  Thebeast..You are very correct.following the link someone posted, the publication said the government will either increase resources or limit number of application, which is what they've already started doing.Let's just watch and see what will happen after the hearings.

Even if they do suspend, it will be for new applications. All who have already submitted will be safe & will in fact get decisions faster.

It is a good news for all those who are waiting since 2003. Inventory of these cases is so huge that Govt. can meet its annual targets for another 7-8 years without opening federal skilled class.

It is likely that those who have job offers will be processed on priority basis as these applicant are not going to use placement resources of Government and thus no burden on system.

Question is: How Govt. will Process these files? Will they start from 2003 or from 2008?

We expect to get answer soon.

they might introduce some kind of clause for the older apps or ask for more doocuments which can delay or refusal for the older application.
