SURNAME- our last name printed as Surname in Visa

Dear All

We got our visa stamped in march and planning to land in November, but we noticed that our last name printed as our surname, and we dont have any surname printed in our passports, it is blank.

Will there be any problem while landing? or do we need to send VO for changes?

In US and Canada all legal names are written in this format:

Last Name, First Name Middle Initials.

If a person's full name is Ali Andaz Haider, it will be written as:

Haider, Ali A.

Lalu Parsad Yadhav will be written as:

Yadhav, Lalu P.

So don't worry, you'll be okay, don't take a chance of contacting VO about this, it will be waste of time.

i hd similar issue that was my full name was mentiined in aurnMe field Nd hiven name field is empty on pAssport. I emaildd embassy and askex if they want to to rectify it but they hv not instructed me to do so. Hence i guess it does not matter. But surely ifur name is correctly spellsd it can avoid any confuaion
