Super Visa Timeline - New Delhi/India

Hi, When did you submit your original application? And when they requested you to submit passport, how did they notify you? Is it through Bluedart or through VFS?

When did you submit the application?
I have submitted on July 18th and still waiting for the super visa.

Finally my parents got super visa valid till their passport expiry dates (around 5 yrs).

Here are my timelines.

July 09, 2012- Upfront medicals done at chennai, Apollo hospitals
July 18, 2012 - Application submitted along with medical results at Chennai VFS office
July 19, 2012 - Application received at Delhi, CHC
Aug 06, 2012 - Super visa issued as per stamping date
Aug 08, 2012 - Super visa received at my parents residence.

Hi all, I'll apply for my mom's supervisa next week. Her visa office is Singapore. Her insurance policy is effective from 1st Jan '13 to 31st Dec '13. Does that mean she has to travel between that period even if she gets visa before that period? Would you guys please help me to understand this?

Hi Rupa, Based on the policy dates that you have, she can travel only between the period, however check with the insurance company if they can change the effective date earlier than the planned?.

Passport submitted: 19 Nov 2012.

Still the application is under process.

I have noticed it can take anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks after passport submission, on average.

There are some cases where it has taken longer but the overall process is only supposed to be 8 weeks long.

My parents submitted their passports early this week along with their medicals (they had applied sometime in november).

So expect to hear something in the next 3 to 4 weeks

Medicals done on November 24th.

I am still waiting for the news.  Anyone has similar timeline? is it normal?

My mother submitted her super visa application via blue dart courier to Canadian High Commission
at Shanthipath, New Delhi on November 21, 2012. We confirmed from Bank that the enclosed $150 (Multiple entry fee)
bank draft is cashed out on November 27,2012.  That means our application is received by Embassy and it is in process.
Also she had enclosed the upfront medical receipt also along with her application.

However, until today January 02,2013 she have no information about her visa or passport status. How she can know the status of her
application processing. Anyone knows CHC ,New delhi is using whic courior service for returning Passport? is it through DHL, Fedex
or Blue dart courier etc?
Recently the land line at home is out of service so very confussed the courier service may contact home and no answer so passport is holding
with courier service? If we know the name of courier service at least I can ask them reagding any mail is holding etc? Please, please reply if anyone knows

My mom's medical done on November 22 and still not hearing anythings.
