Sharing my timeline here.
Application picked up February 4.
Davao City Philippines to Canadian Embassy Manila
Medical Instruction dated February 10 received February 11
Medical completed February 22 sent by DMP on February 23
Visa TBA
My sister phoned the embassy a few times and all they can give is that our application is currently in process. The Super Visa processing time is getting longer based on what I learned from my acquaintances who already have their parents here in Canada. For some reasons all my immigration applications took a lot longer than what is posted. Although I already received my citizenship, I am still getting more disappointed with how they work on my applications.

hi moraine, how did you contact the embassy? I phoned them last night and the agent said that I need to listen to the machine and it says inquiries are done only with email, fax and mail. we're been waiting for more than 2 months now....67 days to be exact  |

It's what the call "PIASI" the same system that we used when we booked a schedule for our documents to be picked up by Air 21. They can see the status of our application, but they can't tell us about the details. For example, if it says in our status "decision made" they cannot tell us whether if is refused or approved. It is recommended that we e-mail the immigration officer only if there is further delays in medical and additional documents requested. Other than that, we have to wait 10 to 15 days after the submission of medical exam and email them about your wait concerns. If you waited about 67 days, that sucks! I would email them and stated that I am rather disaPpointed and concerned about the whole thing. I hope that you did not include weekends in that 67 days. |

Hi All,
Applied for Super Visa at Canadian Embassy New Delhi on March 5th 2012, received passport with Visitor Visa on March 7th 2012.
Didn't get super visa becuase my mom passport is valid until 2016 and as per the letter from CIC (Delhi) they want 10 year valid passport.
My Question?
Is that a valid reason for rejection of Super Visa, I can't renew my passport until 2016.
Is VISA not valid if I get now 10 years super visa and when I renew the passport will it not carry forward to new passport.
Can I contact on phone and ask for reconsideration.

Hi All,
