I assume the officer did not look closely to visa category PG1 and s/he thought it was just a regular visitor visa. Why don't you confirm with CBSA for the reason, maybe they will correct her visitor records if that was their mistake?

I am going to write a note for my mom to present to POE officer .

Can this happen that after getting visa , duration of visit can be shorten at POE

I think this would suffice and help make her entry very smooth at POE! I will tell her to give this to first examining officer right away, hopefully no question asked.

I received my T4(s) today and hopefully will be filing my tax returns using NETFILE (my friend will do it) in a few days. I guess CRA can process NOA in as early as 2 weeks and it may take another 1~2 weeks to get the paper copy of the NOA.

Can I view/printout my NOA when it's processed before getting the paper copy? As I'm flying to Bangladesh on March 17; it will be tight. If I'm able to file it within this week, there will be 3 weeks left.

Update - My parents got the supervisa (Thanks to God)

My father got 2 year visa(bcoz of passport expiration )

and mother got 10 years.


Just wondering will my father has to apply again after 2 year...

All the best for others ....

congratulations imran007, especially your mom who got 10 year visa (the first one I heard on this forum). When are they coming?

If he wants to stay after 2 year just pay $75 and apply for extension with CIC Vegreville. If he wants to go back home and then come back, he needs to reapply for a new Super visa with a new passport. I don't see any problem in either case.

Assuming imran007's parents applying from VFS-New Delhi, India; I summerized the successful cases here. I was curious to know if a regular TRV processing time at a specific visa office has any impact on Super Visa processing. I would need more samples Cheesy

can u tell me how long it took after the medical, and did they call them to send passport in because
my mother in law had medical done feb.6,2012 still wating i worried i hope she get the visa she send the application to chandigarh office

my mother was asked for second medical and after 16 days of submission we got the passport back with visa...
it was mentioned in papers that  passport has to be submitted after 5 days of medical exam
