Dear,

I think yes you can. At HRSDC under 2121, it shows the below employment requirement, so if your bachelor or master is in biology then it is perfect match, if it is not, you still can apply considering these three years experience as discussed in similar cases in this forum and OP6 guide.

"Employment requirements

A bachelor's degree in biology or in a related discipline is required for biologists.
A master's or doctoral degree in biology or a related discipline is required for employment as a research scientist in biology.
Post-doctoral research experience is usually required before employment in academic departments or research institutions."

Is your research paid and indicates the number of hours you work.
If yes I think you are good to go.
Some seniors/experts might give you more idea on this.

Normally employed teaching or research assistant (for example, in U.S.) can be counted as half time.  So your 3 years of research assistant can be counted as 1.5 years full time.  I guess you need to submit your employment contract to justify your work experience.

Yes of course. You can include this year. Also, if your TA experience during PhD is paid, or at least you can generate a reference letter to prove your research experience, then, you should be ok.
