Dear All,
I am having question that how much time does CHC Delhi take to react some one's email?

I had applied directly to CHC Delhi on 20th of April-09 by sending full docs instead of NS ist by mistake. I have already given them mail on 08th of August-09 reqesting them to consider my application. But till no reply. What do you peooke think the reason of delay?

Are they assessing my file? are the they checking background clearance? or they have not still given any attention on my email?

What should I do? I wait for their reply or I should give withdrawal request?
Can I send new application to NS without withdrawing of my old file?

Kindlyyyyy help by suggest?

A visa office ususally takes 28 days to reply. The duration depends on the case. Singapore visa office replied my email within following day.

As you were required to send documents to NS office, I think Visa office will either forward it to NS for further processing or return it to you. They must not retain it for nothing.

Is it your initial application ? What about the fees ?

As I can understand that you have by mistake sent you initial application to local visa office instead of CIO Sydney. If so then kindly follow my advice. I would suggest you to send another application to Sydney with all the forms and fee. Meanwhile the local visa office has to send back your application since they cannot process it. I also did the same mistake and my packet was returned withing 45 days. Your emails will get a standard reply since they will not be able to create a file number for your packet and hence will not be able to track it. I even visited the CHC and they said they will send back my packet since they cannot keep it as it not followed the correct process.
I had sent my packet in May 09 and got it back in June 09.
If you need the draft money immediately then get the draft also cancelled.

It was my initial application in which I had sent full docs. I had also sent the fee draft i.e. for Can $ 1400 for me, spouse and 2 kids, which was not cleared on 10th of august-09 with the initial application.

Normally It takes 15 Working days but if you feel like that there is not any attention to your mail........Email them again and also send the same copy of email as a Fax.

CAD 1400, is a big amount. If you send another application set to NS you have to attach another CAD 1400 fees also. Without the fees NS will not retain your application. I think so.

Better you try to communicate with local visa office where you have submitted your application. and decide after another 10 days, if local visa office let you know anything.

Now you go to your bank and check if the DD is encashed. Encashment of DD must be a positive sign of the application receipt.

However, if you can afford another CAD 1400, sending another set of application directly to NS explaining your situtation will certainly reduce your time. Because you must get back refund of one fees with the documents either from local office or NS.

Dear Alll,
CHC New Delhi has returned my file on 24th of August-09 after keeping it with them near about 4 months. My lawyer has recd. it in Canada as he/she is representing my case. I also let you remind that by mistake my lawyer has filed the initial cum full docs directly to CHC New Delhi on 20th of April-09, now they returned it to my lawyer by giving reason that it has to submit N.S. Sydney ist.

My lawyer is also applied it within a day or 2 with the copy of letter from CHC, requesting them that to give special attention to my case adn he/she made mistake while filing it to wrong track and lost 4 month precious time.

What do you member say? would N.S. Sydney consider the  request or not?

One more question that would I reappear in IELTS as its going expire on 15/01/10?  Would I be able to get response done from CHC New Delhi
 
What date I should got response from CHC New Delhi so that the current IELTS result would be consider by CHC?

hard luck, but i dont think they will give any special attention to your case. Looking at the trends, you will receive the 120 days letter after about 90-100 days. If you keep your documents ready, you may save yourself from having to give the IELTS again...

your consultant sucks if even by April he did not know that all applications need to go to CIC, NS

For Canadian Immigration IELTS is valid for only one year. So if OP has an IELTS with expiry date as listed above, then IELTS is already expired and he/she need to re-appear

That I thought. Local visa office returned your application.

Your consultant urged to CIC for special attention on you application, but it will not work at all.
 
If you do not mind, check each and every information given by your consultant. Because as they do not know where to send the application, you might be misguided again. We no body expect that, but keep attention on your appliaction process. You alreday lost your time due to the mistake of your consultant.

I think you need not to appear IELTS exam again, because you submitted application within one year of IELTS exam. Other members may comment on it.
